Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Jayan Daviau has always lived every aspect of her life by the words of poet Ralph Waldo Emerson "The love of beauty is taste, the creation of beauty is art" . From baking and crafting to makeup and becoming a licensed hair dresser, Jayan?s first love has always been her art. A self-taught artist, Jayan?s primary mediums are realism and pencil sketches, newly expanding into acrylic paints. She draws her inspiration for all of her artwork from her family and friends, focusing on her love of animals and nature.Sharing her passion for art with her parents and brother, Jayan plans to continue her family?s nurturing legacy, by exposing her newborn son, Aindri?, to every kind of art possible.
