Rashmi Agarwal Rashmi Agarwal is a Founder and Chairperson of the Qatar, Doha based an Art Community & quot;Middle -east Art & Silk Painters (MAPS) & quot; and a BOARD member of Silk Painters International (SPIN), USA. She is also a community instructor for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Qatar for Silk Art and member of several other worldwide organisations. Her Painting on Silk is inspired by beauty of her surroundings and inner consciousness. Living in the State of Qatar since 2004, she has come a long way since her professional education degree in Economics, Law and Finance from India. Several of her paintings have a spiritual quality with the power to heal the heart and spirit. Creating, learning, and growing artistically have kept the joy alive and it is her passion to bring healing joy and beauty to others. After holding a series of exhibitions featuring her silk paintings on various mediums, Rashmi wants to enter the Interior and fashion world with her designer Wall Art and bespoke silk Scarves that pack in a brilliant burst of colours, East-West fusions, and Middle Eastern motifs under her brand Oyster Silk Art. ?I would like to have my own line of designs,? she says. She has grown to have more confidence as time has gone on and do not take the worries of being judged to get in the way of what she is doing.
